ST. ALBANS 2ND ALARM

 St.Albans 2nd Alarm One day during the first week of August normally assigned 1st due Engine 317 was in quarters out of service so Engine 275 got in 1st to see a fully involved vacant private dwelling with heavy fire throughout extending to the exposure 4 private dwelling.  Within a few minutes of operating the 2nd floor wall of the fire building collapse onto the exposure.  Chief Ferro the 13 Division chief had all personnel removed from the building into a safe position outside the collapse zone prior to the house collapsing.  No one was injured at this fire.
